Cogito Kids Win Awards at IIMUN, Mumbai

The  India International Model United Nations  (Asia’s Largest Model UN Conference) took place on August 12 -16, 2013 at the World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade in Mumbai.

1,962 Delegates took part in 30 committees. There was a vast age group, ranging from 7th Graders to College students.

The Cogito Book Club Delegation consisted of 11 students in 11 different committees.  8 of the less experienced delegates went to represent Finland, while 3 experienced ones represented the United States in the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), Special Political and Decolonization Committee (SPECPOL) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

6 Cogito kids won awards:

Sejal – 7th grader – Best Delegate (WHO)

Arnav – 10th grader – Honorable Mention (SPECPOL)

Manan – 10th grader – Special Mention (DISEC)

Varun – 10th grader – Special Mention (NATO)

Vandita – 7th grader – Verbal Mention (FAO)

Twinkle – 7th grader – Verbal Mention (WTO)

Super proud of all the kids, and kudos to all the 7th graders who outshone all the older kids.
